Yesterday I had an opportunity to take part in a defining moment of my faith.  I was able to gather in the freezing cold with two hundred other folks from around the county and pray for our country.  It was great to gather with people around a common goal who hold slightly different theology than my own.  But that was not the two main things that I saw that were amazing. Next Monday

Yesterday, I was greeted to a manilla envelope on my front door when I returned home from work.  I wondered who would have stuck an envelope to the door with my name and address on it.  I figured if anyone really wanted to get in touch with me, they would have either mailed it or hand-delivered it because no one would want to just hang it and leave.  People love me and so they are always wanting to talk to me (or at least I tell myself that to keep my spirits up).  However, it actually was not what I was expecting.  The contents of the envelope were actually my papers for next Monday evening. Political Manuevers

It seems everyone has an agenda these days.  Whether or not these agendas are of real concern is mainly based upon how much force the person uses.  Everything that one does is based on either trying to get something or as a measure to repay something that has been done to them.  As mentioned yesterday, last night I had the privilege of being a part of the forum for the town hall candidates of our town.  It was a new experience for me, but it was not one that was stressing either.  I just wish I would have had time to prepare for the questions.
